Committees:  The Board relies on resident-led committees to provide important input and recommendations to the Board.

There are currently four committees, described in the sections below.  You’ll find each committee’s charter and working documents in its respective section

Committee membership entails a one- or two-year commitment.  When a vacancy occurs, the committee will announce it on the website.  If you are interested in applying for a committee, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page and click submit  Your application will be submitted to the board for consideration.

The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) was established to maintain the integrity of the architectural and design character at Sierra Canyon, established by PN II, Inc. To this end, the ARC reviews all proposed modifications to homeowner exteriors and landscape designs to ensure conformity with the ARC Design Guidelines. The ARC then approves or denies the homeowner’s application and notifies the homeowner in writing.

Procedure:

Before modifying your landscaping or home exterior, pick up an ARC submittal packet at the Aspen Lodge front desk. Present your completed written application to the Lodge front desk before noon on the Saturday prior to the Wednesday ARC meeting date. This gives the committee time to review the application. Your attendance at the meeting will be helpful in case there are questions regarding your application. Call Aspen Lodge at 775-624-2900 for more information.

Note: All approvals (or denials) are up to the Architectural Review Committee, who will respond to each application in writing.
